Cancellation/No-show Policy:
Effective June 1st, 2026
Thank you for being a valued client of Dawn Skin Studio. Out of respect for your time and the time of other clients, we ask that you review this policy carefully. Late cancellations and no-shows affect our ability to offer appointment availability to others, as well as our studio's revenue. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions — we are always happy to help.

Cancellation & No-Show Fees: The following fees apply based on the type of appointment change:

No call / No show: 100% of scheduled services

Late cancellation or reschedule (less than 24 hrs notice): Up to 50% of scheduled services

Partial cancellation of a multi-service appointment (less than 24 hrs notice): 50% of the dropped services

Arriving more than 15 minutes late: 50% of scheduled services; appointment will need to be rescheduled
Running Late
If you are running behind, please notify the studio as soon as possible. We allow a 15-minute grace period. Arrival after 15 minutes will result in the appointment being rescheduled and a 50% fee charged.
Dawn Skin Studio is located in downtown Evanston, where parking and traffic can sometimes cause delays.
Please plan your travel time accordingly.
Recent Medical or Cosmetic Procedures
Certain medical and cosmetic treatments require skin healing time before receiving facial services. If you have recently had any procedure, please consult your doctor or provider for guidance, then contact the studio as soon as possible.
âš Important: Cancellations due to recent procedures follow the same 24-hour rule. If you notify us at least 24 hours before your appointment, no fee applies. If you notify us less than 24 hours before your appointment, you will be charged 100% of the scheduled service and will need to reschedule to allow for proper healing.
Treatments and conditions that commonly require a healing period include:

Liquid nitrogen treatments

Skin biopsy, excision, or MOHS surgery

Laser treatments or photodynamic therapy

Botox or dermal fillers (e.g., Juvederm)

Prescription cancer creams (e.g., Efudex, Aldara)

Recent dental work or active dental infections

Active cold sores or eye infections
-
Any open wound, rash, abrasion, or sunburn on the face or treatment area
